Hearts Lifted in Prayer Day
Do you know someone who needs prayers for a prayer intention? Or do you have a prayer intention that is close to your heart? The Men of the Sacred Hearts will add all prayer intentions to their Friday Day Of Prayer. In addition, if desired, you may list who can be notified by email that prayers are being said for them.
Members Of The Men Of The Sacred Hearts Apostolate will pray for one hour at their individual parishes. On the next First Friday, under the guidance of the Spiritual Director, Hearts Lifted In Prayer Day consists of:
- Mass
- Rosary
- Chaplet Of The Divine Mercy
- Adoration Before The Blessed Sacrament
- Prayerful Good Works

Oh Lord Jesus, please help me to forgive as you have forgiven me for the things I have said, the things I should have said (like Thank You and I'm sorry), the things I have done that would not make you happy and for the things I could have done, but did not do (like helping another kid in need). Please let me see the love Mom and Dad have for each other and me. Please let me understand that sometimes parents have to speak loudly to each other, just like I sometimes do when I'm angry at a friend. Please, Jesus, have your Mother watch over me when I sleep, when I awake, when I play, and when I pray. And Jesus, let me feel free to love your Sacred Heart and help my friends understand that you love them too.

Most Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary, united in perfect love, as you look upon your people with mercy and caring, we consecrate our hearts and our lives along with our family to you. We know the beautiful example of your home in Nazareth was meant to be a model for each of our families. We pray to have, with your help, the unity and strong enduring love you gave to one another. May our home be filled with joy. May sincere affection, patience, tolerance and mutual respect be freely given to all. May our prayers include the needs of others, not just ourselves and may we always avail ourselves of your sacraments. Bless those who are present, as well as those who are away from our Church or those who are no longer with us in this life. Grant us Christian acceptance of God's will when we are tested. An Act of Consecration
Lord Jesus Christ, I consecrate myself today anew and without reserve to Your Divine Heart. I consecrate to You all my thoughts, words and deeds, all my sufferings and labors, all my hopes, consolations and joys. In particular I consecrate to You my heart so that it may love You and may be Consumed in the fire of Your love. I place my trust in You without reserve and I hope for the remission of my sins through Your infinite mercy. I place within Your hands all my cares and anxieties.
